Weishaupt is one of the leading international companies for burners, heating and condensing boilers, solar technology, heat pumps and building management systems. The Weishaupt group employs more than 3,000 people worldwide and in 2010 achieved a consolidated turnover of Euro 483m. The business, which was founded in 1932, is now in its second generation of leadership under Dipl.-Ing. Siegfried Weishaupt.
Production facilities are located in Germany and Switzerland. Research and development and burner production take place at the company’s headquarters in Schwendi, Germany, where nearly 1000 people are employed. Heating and condensing boilers are manufactured in Sennwald, Switzerland. Building management solutions are provided by the Weishaupt owned company Neuberger in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany, which employs some 400 people. BauGrund Süd as drilling specialist completes the programme of heat pumps.
Weishaupt has a sales and service network in 60 countries around the world at its disposal. From these locations Weishaupt supports its customers, the heating specialists. In Ireland Weishaupt sells gas, oil and dual fuel burners from 12 kW up to 22,000 kW.
Weishaupt’s continuous, world leading development work results in future proof, energy efficient technology. Some of the company’s most important technological milestones include digital combustion management for burners, series production of gas fired condensing boilers with O2 trim (SCOT system), and the infinitely variable capacity modulation of oil fired condensing boilers.
